MEETING UPDATES
Tuesday 14th November – Public Meeting at Crown Hotel
Well attended by the public including Councillors Joanne Stitt and June Sue Yek.
We had new members join, apologies were given from a number of people who had shift work commitments.
Attendees were treated to a History of Innisfail Mini Rail, how the enthusiasm started and what the Club goals are.
We received a letter from the JSC CEO pledging support in principal to the idea with a few requirements from them which will not be an issue in us reaching our goals.
In all it was a very successful evening and the Club is appreciative of those who came.
For the new members and those who couldn’t attend we had a meeting at Warrina Lakes on Saturday 18th November, 4.00pm
so new members and any other interested people could get a visual and feel for what we aim to achieve.
